On Tuesday 12th of January a group of students attended a CV writing workshop hosted by Bell Amman, a new language institute on Airport Road. During the workshop students learnt that the key to landing a good job is confidence and having a CV that’s been formatted and customised to suit the job advertised. Students worked in groups to comment upon how their own CV could be improved before comparing it to five CV’s written by native speakers, looking for the strengths and weaknesses of each CV and assessing why language, information and formatting changes need to be made to suit the job that’s been advertised. A good time was had by all and students were encouraged to improve their English language skills by attending classes at Bell Amman where they can receive a discount if they produce their student ID card.
